at La Motte Wine Estate
A well-informed Wine Ambassador guides guests through an educational and entertaining food and wine pairing. Food is presented as a modern interpretation of heritage cuisine and the restaurant team works closely with Cellarmaster Edmund Terblanche in creating cuisine to beautifully complement the estate’s wines.
The delicately plated tasters beautifully complement the elegant environment, but still represent flavours and tastes we experience every day and will guide guests towards more reliable future food and wine selections, with reference to weight and intensity, as well as the influence of the primary taste sensations. Strictly by appointment only.
Friday at 10:00.
Prior reservation – at least two days in advance – with upfront payment is essential.
Closed on Christian religious holidays. Available to groups of 2 to 15.

The La Motte Wine and Food Tasting has been carefully designed combining the expertise of La Motte Cellarmaster, Edmund Terblanche and Pierneef à La Motte’s Chef Eric Bulpitt. Please note that although we try our very best to accommodate dietary requirements and allergies, amending the food to suit such requirements might affect the ideal, intended pairing. If there are, however, any dietary requirements, please confirm on reservation to ensure timeous preparation.
