Animal Activities

South Africa is well known for its wild life and we are also passionate pet lovers.  When visiting Franschhoek, you will find that tradition continued here in the winelands.  We even offer you the opportunity to do your wine tasting on the back of a Safari vehicle and viewing some game on one of our largest wine farms.  Coupled with spectacular views of the valley, fabulous wines, water falls and lake lodges, it is a tour not be missed.

You can do some bird watching or visit wild animals such as crocodiles, lions or cheetahs or you could visit the farm animal sanctuary and meet Pigcasso, our famous pig-artist.

You could do some wine tasting on horse-back or you indulge in a bit of relaxing trout fishing.
